As the semester kicks into gear, stress and anxiety are slowly finding their ways back into the crevices of my mind. Despite how calm I tell myself to be, there are always things that need to be done and thus, reasons to stress myself out.
I attended a Mindfulness session on campus yesterday that stressed the importance of meditation, self-awareness, acceptance, and appreciation of the present. I found the session to be very helpful and insightful, especially because some of it was dialogue-based. Once I got back to my room, I made myself a cup of tea, slipped on my brand new Birks (thanks Mom and Dad!) and wrote this worksheet for you all.
It was inspired by Ms. Alex Elle, writer, photographer, yoga advocate, and mother. You can click this link here to view her self-care calendar, which I have printed up and filled out to stick on my wall!
My printable worksheet focuses on ways to bring mindfulness into your life by taking a break from technology and selecting an aspect of your life that you want to improve on or pay special attention to. You can print this out every week or month, depending on how often you want to switch up your agenda! Enjoy, and stay healthy, loves.
