Today I was feeling inspired to cook lunch without a recipe. Instead of making ramen from the Maruchan packs like I usually do, I decided to simply cook the noodles and throw them into a stir fry.
I sautéed the chicken and chopped up baby carrots in some stir fry sauce we had lying around the house, occasionally adding Sriracha and teriyaki sauce. Then I added the cooked noodles and let it hang out on the burner for about 10 minutes, stirring it around every so often.
Aside from tasting amazing, this stir fry was important to me because it was one of the first recipes I've successfully mastered - the "no recipe" recipe.
