Good morning sleepyheads! It's due time I show you all how to make your morning routine a little happier, even if you're not a morning person. When we wake up feeling all groggy and demotivated, it's because we're lacking some very important stimulants. But not to worry, I've concocted a Refreshing Morning Mist that will lift your spirits in the early hours. It's super easy to make and I promise it'll brighten your mornings. This is going to be a two-part DIY, the next post will show you how to make a calming nighttime mist!
The only ingredients you'll need for the morning mist are water, rosemary oil, peppermint oil, and orange oil. Each essential oil has properties that stimulate brain activity, help rid the body of toxins, and increase your energy! All you have to do is add about 5-10 drops of each oil in a spray bottle, mix it in with water (more if you don't like the strong smell, less if you want the mist to be heavily concentrated).
Keep this by your beside so you can spray it, first thing in the morning. Your living space will smell fresh and give you that much needed burst of energy! You can even spray it directly onto your skin to act as a perfume like mist.
I love how strong the peppermint oil is, it really overpowers the other ones in my opinion. It's a lovely scent to wake up to.
