When I find a style of clothes that I like, I tend to get a little carried away. You know when you see a shirt or dress in a store that comes in three different colors - and you want to buy them all? That's me. But instead of a shirt or dress, I'm currently loving the way that soft pinks look against black and white grid patterns.
Fashion posts aren't usually my thing here at FloreaShelby but it's the summer and I've got a lot of free time on my hands. I'm thinking of sharing more outfit posts... we'll see.
But anyways, I recently picked up some new pieces to go with a couple old articles I had lying around. The picnic style pattern at the top of the photo is a dress from American Apparel. They no longer sell it anymore, but it was called the "Gingham Print Rayon Challis Spaghetti Strap Babydoll Dress." I hope they bring it back! (Luckily, I grabbed three when they were on sale last summer. I have them in gingham, sunflower, and denim - hehe.)
The soft pink skirt on the left is from Forever 21 (it looks like they're all out of pink, so here is a similar one). My only issue with this skirt is that it's so sheer. The one I have did not come with a slip and I haven't found anything to wear under it that I like. But the day that I do, you best believe I'll be wearing that skirt all the time.
I am loving the pink ribbed crop top on the right. It is also from Forever21 in the color "Dusty Pink." It's perfect for wearing with black jeans, and maybe a grid pattern accessory like a bag or headscarf.
To sum it up, these two colors/patterns are my newfound loves for the summer! They're feminine, funky, and extremely versatile. Hopefully these pieces serve as some inspiration as you build your summer wardrobe!
Peace and love.
