I know, I know. What happened to the Curly Adventures? Where are the posts? For those of you who don't know, I had a second blog where I posted about my hair journey. I was uploading videos and sharing personal stories about growing up as a biracial curly girl. In answer to those questions, I just decided I didn't want it anymore. The videos are all up on my blog's YouTube channel, including the ones I hadn't yet released but pre-filmed. I will continue to post about curly hair, though, as evidenced by today's post! However, It will be much easier to keep everything on the main blog, so if you need to find specific categories you can click my about page or the tags at the bottom of each post.
Pictured above are the products that I use after shampooing! I've finally gotten to a point in my hair routine where I only have to shampoo once a week. This is a huge deal because I washed my hair every day for years.
The first product on the left is Miss Jessie's "Multi Cultural Curls" styling cream. I don't use this too often because it can weigh my hair down a lot. But when I do use it, I always apply to the ends on wet or damp hair. Sometimes I'll spray my hair with water and then lightly pat this product on. It smells really nice, too.
I was browsing VitaCost a few weeks ago and I found Beautiful Curls' Leave In. It was on sale, too, so I added it to my cart not really knowing what to expect. I've only used it a few times, but I'm liking how it keeps my hair soft and hydrated.
The last product on the right was given to me by a friend! I've managed to use this small packet five times and I still have a little bit left. It's Hask's Bamboo Oil Deep Conditioner and it's AMAZING. I have to stop myself from playing with my curls after I use this, it just makes my hair so bouncy and soft. I need to restock soon.
That's it for the curly products I've been using! If I switch it up, I'll make another post with the reviews. Have a great weekend, everyone!
