Greetings everyone and thank you for checking in on this fairly inactive blog. I know I don't do as much skincare stuff anymore, but my divination portion of the blog here is updated pretty regularly! I've returned to the skincare world to show you all the new soap that my mom and I made this break! You can take a look at the soap we made last year and view the recipe here.
Making soap from scratch is something I still want to try, but it's way easier for us to go to Amazon and buy clear glycerin. All we do is melt it down, decorate our molds with the oils and herbs we want, then pour the soap in layers. We used red solo cups last year and some of them melted because the soap was so hot! This year we used small casserole dishes and the soaps turned out really "professional" looking.
I used mica shimmer, lemon oil, poppyseed, dried rose petals, rosehip oil, my cosmic rosewater and sage oil in my soap (above). My mom stuck to a traditional lemon poppyseed with dried rose petals soap for hers!
