How can we channel all the fast-paced, unstoppable energies in the cosmos this week? Retrogrades from the Spring continue to enforce our introspective-based decisions, Eclipse Season is throwing us into a whirlwind of emotions, and Venus in Cancer is making a huge impact on our relationships - if we still choose to foster certain ones. Here are the five cards to keep in mind for this week and well beyond then.
Often, we come full circle and realize that we are equipped with more tools than before to handle a situation. It is only through trial and error that we gain PERCEPTION; this card reminds us that we cannot go back, only through and forward. It speaks to a transformation within the heart, a new perspective and openness to what lies ahead. But before we can welcome such abundance into our lives, this means we must weed out the garden. Venus in Cancer informs our PERCEPTION, guiding us to only invest in what invests in us back. With PERCEPTION, we appreciate our experiences and lovingly say goodbye to what must remain in the past.
As we step into this unknown future, MYSTICISM lies ahead. We can no longer ignore the signs, as Eclipse Season is demonstrating to us, and we must be okay with what is to come. The cloaked woman in the illustration represents a mysterious, omniscient force; though we can’t know everything (and have to come to terms with the fact that we never will!), we have to learn to trust this unknown future. The cloaked woman bears the fruits of recognizing the signs that we may have chosen to ignore; she presents us with the ability to fearlessly step into our paths. Again, we can only do so when we shed what weighs us down.
All that hinders us from our higher growth, whether it be in the form of relationships or habits, must be released. If not, we will continue to harbor resentment and GUILT. Are you over exerting yourself in relationships, only to feel devastated when the energy you give is not returned to you? Venus in Cancer seeks mutual energy exchanges and gently reminds you that if you’re not receiving that same energy, it’s time to let go. We find personal power when we release the obligations to others that we’ve created. The card illustrates a woman physically shackled to a duty; she masks her pain in “responsibility” and “joy of servitude.” If you are participating in a service that drains you more than it energizes you, it’s time to end the energy flow. That is not an exchange.
It is a time for motion, change, renewal and creativity. MOVEMENT awakens these forces within, bringing us out of our creative ruts, writer’s block and lack of motivation. There is no time for stagnation, we are drawn out of our immobility with action, MOVEMENT and force. Leo Season is packed with action, creativity, outward and external expression, and exciting opportunities. If you're contemplating starting a new project or hobby, the best approach is to just go for it! Awaken your spirits by throwing yourself into something you've wanted to do for a while. There's no better time than now.
We are in HARMONY and in sync with the natural, cosmic cycles. Use this time to ground yourself, as the Eclipse Season can be very jolting and difficult for those of us who have put off doing the personal work necessary. Use Earth associated crystals, work with the root chakra, and create stability for yourself (emotional, creative, etc). You have so many immense powers at your disposal. It’s time to stop ignoring the signs and step into personal responsibility and growth. There is a whole realm of possibilities waiting for you.
Sending you all loving and encouraging energies! As the summer vacation is coming to a close, there is still time to establish a sense of your creative self before the school year starts. Set the foundation for your personal work now, so that you don't find yourself lost in assignments and stress once the semester starts up again. You're capable of incredible change. Have a great week, everyone!
